Cub-N-Family 2007 suggestions/feedback

Pack 327 would like your feedback and suggestions on improvements to Cub-N-Family for next year. Please tell us what we did right and what could be done better.

Without a District Executive through part of the planning it was rough this year. Planning an event for 1200 peole is no small task. I'm sure we can come up with some contructive ways to make it easier for the next pack running the event and for those participating.

We needed to reserve a radio channel for our FRS 2-way radios. We are looking to buy a few pairs with the 'privacy codes' to reduce the problem, if not eliminate it.

One issue is always the long lines for the ranges: BB Gun and Archery. The boys all love these events but for safety reasons BSA requires that they be run by trained Scouters at a District event. We really need more trained rangers in the district. Pow-Wow, Saturday Nov. 3, is the next opportunity for Scouters to get certified to run a range, either BB Gun or Archery.

A number of people said they couldn't hear well at the campfire. We are shopping for a louder bull horn.

We need a map of all the packs POSTED at the Registration desk.
Any other suggestions?
